Association Management Committee

The Association Management Committee oversees the responsibilities and resources `necessary to allow the Association to provide programs, products, services and activities to the membership and local boards. That includes planning, training of staff and leadership, administrative functions, and internal operations. This Committee also coordinates activities as necessary to accomplish the mission and assigned MAR Strategic Plan goals and objectives.

Political Affairs Committee

Guided by the MAR Legislative Position Statement as approved by the Board of Directors, the Political Affairs Committee assists local boards and members through collective action to promote and preserve private property rights and to pursue other interests of the real estate industry. In conjunction with the Montana REALTORS® Political Action Committee, the Issues Mobilization Committee and the Legal Action Committee; the Political Affairs Committee will coordinate activities necessary to accomplish the Association’s mission, and assigned MAR Strategic Plan goals and objectives.

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee provides tools for members to perform to the highest standards. That encompasses providing opportunities to earn designations such as GRI, to share information about upcoming educational classes around the state, and to research member needs and interests in future programming.

Risk Management Committee

The Risk Management Committee assists members by providing programs and activities to prepare them to effectively and profitably conduct business in a productive, ethical and professional manner. The Committee oversees the Forms, Professional Standards and the Legal Hotline programs.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee oversees MAR’s member and public communication programming, including publications, media outreach and public relations. The Committee also oversees the Quality of Life program.
