What is the GRI Designation and Why Should I Attend?
The Montana REALTOR® Institute (GRI) Program is designed to enhance your knowledge of real estate marketing and teach you skills that you will set you apart from the competition. NAR statistics show that REALTORS® with a GRI designation earn over $32,000 more annually than non designees.
How will I benefit from earning my GRI?
When you obtain the GRI Designation, you will earn one of the industry's most respected and prestigious professional designations. In today's business environment you need more than just motivation and initiative to succeed - you need the GRI Advantage!!
How do I earn the Designation?
To be awarded the GRI Designation, a REALTOR® must complete a comprehensive series of courses covering all facets of real estate. The Montana REALTOR® Institute has been customized to ensure that all information applies in our state. As stated in the National Association of REALTORS® GRI Curriculum Guidelines, in order to receive the GRI Designation, a student must attend at least 30 hours of classroom instruction per GRI course level. Failure to attend at least 30 hours may result in a loss of credit towards the Designation. Therefore, you must be in attendance at all classes from 8:00 AM Sunday, March 14, through 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 17th. No exceptions will be made.
Tests
All courses containing required objectives will have tests. The test, to be given immediately following each course, will be multiple choice or true/ false. To successfully complete any level of GRI, you must maintain an average of 70% on your tests.
Who are our Instructors?
Our instructors are national experts and hold many designations in their fields of expertise.
The course of study for the REALTOR® Institute is coordinated and approved by the Montana Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. Continuing Education (c.e.) credits for the GRI are determined by the Montana Board of Realty Regulation. Credits are pending and will be posted as soon as possible.
