MAR is active in providing educational opportunities for our members throughout Montana. MAR is the training source for:

Realtor® University

Although the MAR and it's local boards provide educational opportunities for members, it is the Montana Board of Realty Regulation that regulates real estate education requirements in Montana. The Board of Realty Regulation has a listing of all available courses and schools in Montana. For information on anything other than REALTOR® sponsored education, please contact the Montana Board of Realty Regulation through the Board of Realty Regulation or call (406) 841-2321.

Workforce Housing Specialist Class Description-

The class is targeted toward REALTORS and others working in the real estate industry and is geared toward teaching participants how to provide clear, consistent and comprehensive guidance and education to prospective first-time home purchasers.

Participants will learn how to explain the home buying process, budgeting, money management, credit, banking, mortgage financing, predatory lending and mortgage fraud, down payment assistance, and insurance in a fast paced and lively format.

Successful completion of the entire class will earn participants 11.5 mandatory continuing education credits and the Workforce Housing Specialist (WHS) certification, granted by the Montana Association of REALTORS
